Disclaimer: Since this is a 1 Day streaming pass, it is best to do this when DoraDora is released!
+ Originally, it was a 7 day pass, but it seems that Bugs has changed it to just a 1 day pass recently. Despite this change, we’ll just have to work with whatever is given to us! We have to make every little thing count! :)
Before going on, you must first change your IP Address so that Bugs will let you stream. If you do not do this step, Bugs will most likely not allow you to stream! Please read these steps thoroughly.
How to change your IP Address:
Go to http://hidemyass.com/proxy-list/ or http://www.freeproxylists.net/ and find “Korea” under country and click search. It will locate IP addresses Korea.
Once it gives you a list. Use one of the IP a ddresses given as your proxy server. Here is how you can change your proxy server based on your browser:
Google Chrome: Click the wrench on the top right side, then settings > Under the Hood > Change proxy settings… >LAN Settings > Check the “Use a proxy server” box > Insert IP address and Port in the boxes and click “OK” *Click here for a visual*
- To revert back to your original IP, uncheck the “use a proxy server” box and click “OK”
Firefox: Click the ‘Firefox’ sign on the top left corner, then hover over to options and click option again. When a new window opens, click Advanced > Network > Settings… > Click “Manual Proxy Configuration: ” > Insert IP address in the “HTTP Proxy” box and Port in the box next to it. After wards, click “OK.” *Click here for a visual*
- To revert back to your original IP, click “Use system proxy settings” and click “OK”
Internet Explorer: Click the tools icon (last icon) on the top right side, then click Internet Options. When a new window opens, click the Connections tab > LAN Settings > Check the “Use a proxy server” box > Insert IP address and Port in the boxes and click “OK.” *Click here for a visual*
-To revert back to your original IP, uncheck the “use a proxy server” box and click “OK.”
Safari: Click the tools icon (last icon) on the top right side, then click preferences. When a new window opens, click Advanced > change settings… > LAN Settings > Check the “Use a proxy server” box > Insert IP address and Port in the boxes and click “OK.” *Click here for a visual*
- To revert back to your original IP, uncheck the “use a proxy server” box and click “OK.”
*Please note that Proxy Servers constantly change so the IP address you’ve chosen may no longer work later on. If the IP address you are using stops working, just go on one of those websites again and get a new IP address.
**Please note that your internet speed may be slower than usual when using a different IP address, so when you’re done streaming, you can revert back to your original IP.
NOW, for the tutorial to stream on Bugs.
Go to http://www.bugs.co.kr/
Click the BLUE로그인icon.
A new window should pop up for you to log in to your facebook page if you’re not already. (If you don’t see a new window open, check to see if your pop-up blocker is turned on that may be the problem.)
In the next page, click “Go to app” and click “allow” on the next one.
It will then take you to a place asking you to tick the boxes. Tick the three boxes and click the orange button that says “동의.”
It’ll then redirect you back to the main page of Bugs. On the search bar at the top search “유키스”and click “검색”to search.
Scroll down and find the song that you would like (in this case, Amazing or Dora Dora WHEN it is released).
Click on the ‘+’ button to add to your playlist.
The player should pop up with the song that you added to your playlist.
Click the play button to start playing.
While the song is playing, continue to add more songs to the playlist.Your playlist should look like this.
OTHER IMPORTANT ADDITONAL INFO!
I’m not 100% sure about how many songs you can have in a row (some fans say having too many of the same song in a row may be counted as spam and the stream does not count)
I’m not sure if repeated playlists count, so it’s best to just add a bunch of songs in the playlist so we don’t have to worry about repeating or looping counting.
Since this is just a one day pass, try to stream as much as you can for that whole day to take advantage of the pass!
Again, your internet will probably be a lot slower than usual and you may sometimes have to refresh due to a connection error. You just need to have patience ^^;
After your 1 Day trial is done, just create another Facebook account, and then login using that account instead.

Here is the Mnet Text/SMS voting tutorial.
This one’s a bit tricky - you can only vote while Mnet is airing. There are numbers that they give out at the bottom of the screen for you to send Hangul text to so your vote will be counting. Nothing else will be counted except for the Hangul. Please note: This is the one thing we are extremely weak in, and I redid this tutorial for you guys because a lot of people that I’ve talked to (including my Korean friends) say that Mnet text voting is the weakest. Please at least consider one of these options before passing it up!
Options:
1.) Your own cell phone. If you live in the US like I do, most cell phone carriers have international texting. Granted, it may cost you a bit more, but what’s an extra dollar or two for U-Kiss, eh? Most US plans accept this. I know nothing of abroad cell phone plans and how they work but I’m guessing it’s the same as well. Please check with your cell phone provider or check your plan before texting to Korea.
- If you text to Korea via your own cell phone or a cell phone in general, just send it like you do any other message. Be sure to add a +82 in front of the number. +82 is Korea’s country code. Remember, U-Kiss must be Hangul if you’re voting. If you don’t have a Hangul option on your phone (iPod/iPhone/Android etc all have “international keyboards”) then you’ll have to try one of the other options.
- If you don’t know by now, the Hangul for U-Kiss is 유키스.
2.) Via Skype. Skype is free to download and easy to run, you can download it here. Skype is available for Windows, Max, & Linux. It’s also available for iPod/iPhone, Android, iPad, Windows Phones, etc. You’ll need to sign up which only takes seconds, also free. Once you’ve installed, they’ll prompt you to sign in and once you’re ready to go, you’ll need to buy Skype credit if you want to text via Skype. There are multiple ways to pay depending on what country you live in, and the price depends on your currency also. It costs 9.7 cents to text from the US to Korea. If you need help with this, let me know and I’ll be glad to help you.
3.) I mentioned this last time, but iPod/iPhone/Android/Windows Phone/etc apps do work, you just have to find them for your country on iTunes/iTunes store. If you have trouble finding one, I’ll do my best to find one for you, just tell me your country. If I can’t find anything free or paid then you’ll just have to use one of the other options listed above.
